Hopefully the team hears about the Barkley hate. He had our backs in the Ohio State thing, but now, whatever English said to Prohm right at you Charles.

Georges was mugged most of the game.

Teams have started to flop constantly against him trying to draw offensive fouls since they can't guard him. Iona playrs flopped in front of him all game long. Luckily the refs didn't take the bait in this game. They should officiate our big 12 games from now on.

There were a LOT of fouls they could have called. Seems like they just let them play for a lot of it.

As a 35 year consumer of this tournament, it's pretty normal that NCAA games are rarely called tight. They usually let the players decide things, as they should!

Couldn't watch...had a feeling the 16 point lead or whatever I saw may go down a bit. Glad they pulled it out and got the win.

If they can play well and get some luck, they can beat whomever they play Saturday, but overall it's really just gravy from here on out.

Purdue flings up a 3 to lead by 3 at the break. AR/LR is playing very tough.....I hope if they can't pull the upset, they drain every bit of energy out of the Boilerfakers, so they are primed to be flayed by our boys on Saturday.

One guy says something and everyone jumps on him and you say this? ???

I figger if there is a "refs suck" thread after every game win or lose, it seemed appropriate. If you only read these boards you would have thought Nader was knifed, kicked and held down and beaten.

I was amazed Morris had such a great game, and barely sat down, for battling multiple injuries. In fact, I'd say all of the starters had a great game when you look at the box score.

The thing that has puzzled me a little is that Burton's minutes have dried up since the West Virginia game, despite us having hardly any other bench players who can produce. Looks like he's averaging about 14 minutes per game in the last five games. I know he plays too fast at times, but man, I think we could use another 6-8 minutes out of him to give the starters a breather.

Prohm said he talked to Burton about shot selection a few games back. Burton was pulled right after a bad three miss. Prohm held him accountable. We are going to need Burton even more next year but he needs to follow coach's direction.
