It's because we are playing what basically equates to a prevent defense. Why, I have no idea, but it sucks.

Having three down lineman isn't a bad base defense, but it's predicated on having fast LBs and FS/SS. We are just not playing fast enough to keep up with the east-west running game of Mizzou so far.
