At least my beer has a sweet vortex bottle so it slides down my gullet even more rapidly than normal.

After today, I just don't see any reason to be excited for the 2nd half of the season. This team is lucky to have any wins lets alone a 3-0 start. Perhaps next year things will improve.

Jamie Pollard HIRED coach rhoads and he is NOT about to fire any coach that he has hired because....
What makes you think JP will be around more than 1-2 more years? Not suggesting he'll be fired, but there's a new president coming in and AD's, much like college presidents, tend to move on after a few years.

Third time this year we play a team that commits zero penalties in the first 3 quarters.

Mizzou's fist touchdown would have been a 3 yard loss if not for a horrendous block in the back. But I'm sure we're doing it a lot more to get called for a hold and a block in the back compared to zero for our opponent.

We can criticize ISU's penalties but this is crap never having any penalties on the opposition. UConn and Baylor had tons of penalties against FCS teams, somehow they play flawless against ISU. Doubtful.

Mizzou had 7 penalties last week.
7 penalties the week before.
7 penalties in a 69-0 scrimmage against Western Illinois.
11 penalties against ASU
9 penalties against Miami OH.

ZERO today. It's kind of mathematically ridiculous that this happens every single week now. Every team we play with Big 12 refs gets penalized at 10% of their season average if at all.

all true and it sucks...its incredibly obvious the big 12 refs are slighted against ISU...stats prove it. but still not the reason(s) we are going to lose today.

Where was the late hit call just now?

Another blatant example of the other team not getting called for anything.

And before osmebody *******. No, the refs are not costing us the game. But once again they are tilting the field.

Very true. We get none of the breaks and the other team gets all of them.

Seriously, let it go. If you believe the refs are hosing us today, you don't know what you're talking about.

We look like a HS team playing against the Green Bay Packers. It's that bad folks. We are getting it handed to us in EVERY aspect of the game.

Paul Rhoads owes the fans an apology after this game IMO, or some may not come back again this year, and I wouldn't blame them. This effort is beyond pathetic.

If Jantz isn't done for this game now, then I just don't get it at all. Bench everyone right now. Why risk any injury. Also, give some guys some experience.
