Maybe we can play our way into a semifinals rematch in KC, but getting past Tech’s defense is going to be a tall order. We will have to win ugly.

That's pretty much how this team wins any game.

You’re right. It’s a stupid opinion. Do your homework. Look at any teams that any expert has seeded between 7 and 12 and you tell me who has a better resume and Q1 wins than us.

Your conference record excuse is also stupid as hell. Based on your thought process UNI deserves an at large bid over us because they have a winning record in the Missouri Valley? Thought process by some people is laughable.
Taking my post to the extreme much? Who said anything about UNI? Not every team above .500 deserves to be in either. I’m talking about teams like SDSU and say Murray state. Undefeated in their conference (yes I know it’s a mid major) and not a lock for the tourney. Pretty hard to go undefeated in conference play these days in any conference as we see with Gonzaga who I’m my opinion plays in a trash conference and they couldn’t even do it as “one of the best teams in the country”. In the big 12 almost every game you play is a chance at a Quad 1 win. Not all but almost. Most teams in the country don’t get a chance to play a team each night that a computer and some others have seemed are good. So trust me I have done my homework.

Murray state is a lock even if they lose. So that doesn’t work in your favor. So I guess you haven’t done your homework. And SDSU had a great year but tell me who they’ve beaten. How many Q1 wins do they have? What’s their NET? Again. Homework not done.

So you did your homework but don't think ISU gets in.

Hit those last two one and ones, and we're up four with all the pressure on Baylor. Who knows.
Proud that our guys didn't fold down 29-4.
As time goes by, and we get more shooters, we will win games like this because we make the free throws. Critical.

This year it is just not our MO.

If the light goes on (shooting, including free throws) we can still do some damage this year.

But 4 of Iowa State's quad 1 wins came in the non con.

Specifically, to boost that -- 23 of 25 wins are Q3 and Q4. 2-2 in Q1-Q2.

I do understand inability to "schedule-up" for those programs, and admire winning what's there. But ... not on the level of Murray State, from resume standpoint.

Caveat: I would not want to face South Dakota State if I'm a 4 or 5 seed.

What are we thinking… win 1 in KC and stay on the 7 line? Lose and fall to an 8?

And 2 of those are on the bubble right now…. So how good are those teams really? One was @Kansas St.. a 14-16 team that is 6-12 in conference. Anyone else see the flaws in the NET rankings which correlate into where it’s a Q1 win or not.

Yes it's flawed.

ISU is not the first team to get in with a losing conference record.

They've gotten into decent bowls with marginal football teams too.

Just enjoy it ok?

It's clear he/she doesn't want to. They admitted they don't think we should get an at large. Not sure why they are continuing to respond. If they've done all the homework as they said they did, and still think ISU shouldn't be in, then why bother responding to us? Their mind is clearly set.

Agree with all of that. All I’m saying is that ISU had a great unexpected successful season and I am enjoying. My opinion on whether a team in their position (any team not just ISU) should be in or not is just that. My opinion.

I'm thinking IFA is the Summit League Commissioner.
