I know it wasn't at Hilton, and I know it wasn't a W. But that comeback was more impressive than the one against OU 7 years ago with Niang and that group.
Yeah, ESPN likely did us a favor by pre-empting it. There can't have been much good in that first 10 minutes.Literally everything
The OU game was a win and it was well into the second half before the comeback started. But this was against the #3 team in the country on their court.I know it wasn't at Hilton, and I know it wasn't a W. Not sure what the deal with FT shooting is, but this isn't the first game where ISU has missed the front end of several 1 and 1s. Jones missing is one then, but the guys that are what most would consider our "shooters" have been pretty marginal at the FT line. Something to work on.The officiating was questionable down the stretch but both Brockington and Conditt missed the front end of one and ones with the score tied 62-62 with under 6 minutes. That’s my struggle with always blaming the refs. There’s always missed opportunities that refs didn’t cause. We had chances to close it out but couldn’t. Ultimately, 29-4 is a long way to come back from.

It’s a weird group. They really seem to almost need to force themselves into getting their backs up against the wall, and their junkyard dog mentality comes out.Defending national champs vying for a conference title on senior day.
All sorts of reasons or the game to staybout of hand.
ISU needs to bottle whatever that was and go forward with it.
They're just better when it doesn't seem like they should be.
Gabe can't fall over that easy (flop) in that spot. You have to keep your balance
Louder for the ones in the back!Gabe with 16, 11 in the second half. He’s having a hell of a game.
