ISU doesn't guard the perimeter very well or shoot very well, and Iowa shoots very well, from the perimeter, and pretty much always plays above themselves for this game while ISU has been pretty erratic.

Iowa has won once in 20 years in Ames plus analytics show ISU with a 75% chance to win. I like our chances.

Tamin triple double is the obvious headline, and well deserved. Dude is not a star in the making, he's already there.

But was nice to see Tre have a nice game on offense, Pav breakout, Rob continues to be much improved to this point.

I'm not complaining. Road win where you're down 10 early and then can mostly cruise in the second is fine.

I get people are going to question having starters in late but I don't mind it. These guys needed to see the ball go in the basket following the past weekend and it also gave us a chance to see Tamin complete that feat. Fun stuff outside of the first 10 or so.

The way DePaul hit threes tonight and how weird ISU was on defense, it wouldn't take long for that game to get to single digits and I was expecting it to.

I'm not sure if people just don't watch many other college games but 20 points is nothing in today's game and 'give guys playing time with 10 minutes left' tonight was a weird flex.
Aside from that, the starters will need to be conditioned to finish through the end of closer games so keeping them out there can help.

Yeah, towards the end of the Houston/Xavier game they said Xavier was 9-0 against the Big 12 since 2001. Didn't we just beat them two years ago?

You don't need facts you just have to say it with confidence. It's like being a politician.

Unfortunately, it looks like we only have a 7 man rotation until Ward comes back. Omaha just doesn’t provide anything and Watson can’t even get on the court. They need to get serious run in the cupcake games between Iowa and conference games.

And none of that matters for this specific year.

ISU won't need to play their best game all season, but will need to play their best game of the past two weeks.
