Not even joking, I saw Allen Lazard in that court storm. Anybody else? He was in a yellow shirt on the left of the screen during the chorus for "Sweet Caroline".

Did he cut his hair? This sure looks like him.

It's an early season game so can't read too much into it, but really encouraging to beat a team of that caliber and not play that great of a game.

Really impressed with Kane, Hogue and Ejim of course. 22 points in his first game. Stud.

I don't mind the court storming. Have fun.

I am a troll? Ha! I, like many others, pointed out that I felt it amateur to rush the court. You, unable to accept this viewpoint, resorted to name calling. It's really something you should work on. So, no, I am not a troll, but your actions would make you a bully...at best

Funny how you only respond to my responses to you. Chill out! This is a huge win for ISU and you are just spreading feces all over it. Others have responded to your posts as well, please quit riding my knob.

Off topic here, but why would Fred pick Navy Blue for his jacket today? Michigan colors, really?

True dat. He should have worn something like this:

I don't really get the national love for McGary. Look at his stats from last season. 7.5 pts/gm, 6.3 rb/gm. Yes, he had a great tournament run, but what's more likely: the entire 2012 season was a fluke, or the tournament performance was?

Probably somewhere in between. His production slowly picked up at the end of the season and it wouldn't be shocking for a freshman to take some time to emerge.

Travis Hines ‏@TravisHines21 11m "It's a little shaky when they single out one player." - Mitch McGary on ISU's fans tonight.

As someone else said, don't be the dirtiest player on the court, and fans don't single you out. Mitch, you made it very easy.
If the guy could play without throwing people around, he could be something outstanding. The only thing outstanding about his game right now is the warrant.

You are the one who should relax. Why ***** about fans storming the court after an exciting big win like that? And I think you are underestimating the impact of the whole atmosphere on recruits. The win could be a huge factor for future ISU Cyclone basketball going forward. Picking up a player like Rashad Vaughn has a big impact.
I get it, @IowaStateCyclones was getting pretty riled up and angry based on his/her comments, hence the relax comment. We can agree to disagree about the storming the court. The announcers during the next game were mocking it, but of course it can only be a positive when a top 15 recruit who expects to play for a winning team see fans in mass hysteria after a game inNovember. Michigan is ranked, so of course it is a good win, but it's mid November and most of that fan base expected to win...that's all I am saying.

LOL. ESPN just praised the ISU crowd for storming the court after beating the national runner-up team. They said that ISU did it right. THAT is the way to storm the court after a big game and a great exciting win. What a great environment.

I wasn't expecting a win but this is huge with vaughn in the house. His commitment could lead to many years of great success

Certainly the guy is athletic for his size, and definitely has potential. I just think it's a pretty big leap from his season last year to pre-season All American like some picked him.

I get around
Congrats from a KU alumnus. ISU didn't shoot as well as normal and still looked very comfortable against a tough opponent. So many weapons on your squad. The games between KU-ISU-OSU should be intense.

Thanks much! Those will be some good games for sure and all three should do well in the tourney!
