Agreed. I want to see what the white/cardinal/white combo looks like @ home next week

I'm a little annoyed at the white helmets because...

1.) the tapered stripes don't match any of the "rectangular" elements of the stripes on the jerseys and pants
2.) the gold on the helmet doesn't match the gold on the uniforms

These inconsistencies annoy me, even if I like the idea overall.

I dislike white pants with jerseys without significant white elements, specifically the numbers. It makes the whole look really unbalanced and disconnected from itself. Having a jersey that is 100% cardinal/gold with no white and pants/helmets that are mostly white is going to look disjointed.

Kind of like this....

A modest/moderate redesign to make our numbers white, which would also get rid of the "USC" charges, would make it so we could be much more versatile and still look good.

White numbers on white jerseys. With black shoes. That's the way to go.

Watching it seemed as if we were a lot more physical than 1st two games.
We got torched a few times, but those looked mental & not overpowered without a chance at stopping. More attitude

Any post game comment from the coaches on how we get Lazard more opportunities, even when the defense is keying him?

God-honest truth since 1983 (restart of ISU FB fortunes)

1) ISU leads the country in giving up TOUCHDOWNS in 2 min drill before Halftime

2) ISU leads the country in having covered receivers

3) ISU leads the country in letting opponents' receivers get open

4) ISU leads the country in dropped passes

5) ISU leads the country in 3rd and outs

6) ISU leads the country in 3rd and longs

I am totally serious-- out of 120 D1 teams, there can't be another program in the country (measured over 33 years) that's worse
33 years. Ya haven't been 'round long.

I think the issue is with the polos the staff has been wearing. Looks like a freaking cardinal vest over a grey T-shirt.
So it's not the playbook, it's not the players, it is the staff's fashion sense that's plaguing this team...

Or maybe it's the staff, playbook and players.. Who really knows anymore.
Noticed other teams today are wearing same vest shirt, different colors. Ps. Ordered "dry fit" ISU shirt from Fanatic online..Quality was horrible.

Two years ago he may have been too merciful. On the final weekend he had TCU take a knee twice in our redzone in the 4th when the game was out of hand instead of running up the score. TCU didn't make the playoffs.

Patterson is a class act, but if we were baylor he would probably try to put up 70.

I'm fine with GP putting 70 on BU. GP is a good and decent human - all kinds of respect for him.
