This is "one of those games" (and one of those weeks). If ISU has a chance to climb into the pool of bubble contention, it begins here. Why not steal a road win vs. a top 25, and see what happens?
NIT bubble contention?

"Firmly believe"? Wow, ye of great faith.A Road win at ranked TCU could be the catalyst we need to start a run..... I still firmly believe we will be a tournament team and that we have barely scratched the surface. Big game tonight. Go Clones!
RPI is at 111 right now."Firmly believe"? Wow, ye of great faith.
I hope so but I think that would take quite a series of performances to get to the tournament. We dug ourselves a pretty good hole to start the Big 12 round robin so I'm not as optimistic. I do enjoy watching this team though.

Ouch. That sucks for them.
They made a good run without him at the end of last season so I'm not going say it changes things a lot for us. They were going to come out ornery tonight anyway and this will just give them more of a wounded animal attitude.
Hell of a lot better than Iowa.NIT bubble contention?
