Brogdon has traveled 5-6 times this half. 2 of those ended up with fouls on us. Comical that Niang is the only one called for a moving screen with the crap Virginia gets a away with.

Our guys don't try to run threw them and their's did. You aren't going to get the call on the moving screen if the deference tries to run around it rather than taking the contact.

Refs have been an absolute joke. Both of those "And 1's" were a complete joke of a call. Our guys didnt even touch them let alone enough contact to alter the shot.

We brought a terrible effort to start and some better effort along the way.
It'll come down to getting any amount of defense and finding out if that awful start is too much to overcome.

The way the Sweet 16 games have gone so far, it's way too much to overcome, but we have 20 minutes to pull it off.

Lucky ISU is only down 14. Going to need to play the best half of the season here to have a chance.

Guys that was not goaltending, just a good block by a good defensive player. Shot was on the way up, didn't touch the backboard, and wasn't over the cylinder...


Now some of the other calls... yikes.

Really ISU got some open looks early, and they didn't fall. Virginia got some open looks, and hit them all. ISU went into panic mode being down by 9 and played right into the strength of the Virginia D(Over driving, lack of ball movement, settling for bad shots).

I think if ISU hits those early shots and settles into a better rhythm this is an entirely different game. Some of our guys just look rattled after the slow start.

Hope we can pick it up on the defensive glass and get some better ball movement in the second half.
