Just dropping in to say this. We came out of the half with zero energy. The team looked beat, even after the stop on the first possession. Game is over.
we've had about 4 really bad drops. not really looking like the amazing WR corps they are supposed to be. Hope that can change now!
I have to salute Iowa for re-inventing the Walter-Payton-over-the-top=play.....so obvious to do in certain situations and the last Hawkeye Offensive coach who could barely win with Texas talent could not grasp this play. You could argue there were some losses caused because he could not score at the one yard line several times....maybe even that Florida bowl game early on. Iowa State has not been able to utilize this play themselves in forever.......
It's looking that way. I'm not ready to pack it in yet, games can take unexpected turns. As far as trending, though, it looks unpromising.

Well, they only had 263 yards total against Wyoming. We are going to get destroyed in the Big 12 if our D continues to play like this.

Now would be a good time for Park to start his drive for 4000 yds this season.
Iowa's plan--execute their strength and play off of that.
ISU doesn't look too impressive on either side and was out of position a lot there. Was kind of hoping they'd have a bit more established up front but perhaps it's too early in the season.
