Haven't read any posts in this thread... but I gotta say this:

I'm not one to complain much about officiating... but this game has been terrible. Almost everytime UNI drives to the lane... there's a call, a few legit... but a lot I haven't seen.

However Jake came in midhalf... I suspect Fred told him to drive and draw contact... only once was it called and it took the UNI guy reaching fully around his back to get the call. And between DG and Jake driving and shooting low... there's been full body contact during the shots and nothing.

This has been terrible to watch.

:SLEEP:I agree, this is a little boring, if we lose to UNI, I do not know if I will eat for the next week.

DG and Jake have been mauled going to the hoop, no calls. A little homerism going on. We haven't shot well, that's going to change in the second half.

We gotta get better looks at the basket. Those contested 3s that Garrett has been taking have just not been falling. Maybe some more off ball screens to get Scotty open would be nice.

Dude, thats like sad, the girl and the guy proforming are very weird, The basketball game is funner to watch anyway.

You can step up the defensive intensity. That will get them moving a little quicker.

We pushed the ball pretty effectively about the first 5 minutes of the half but that was mostly due to UNI missing almost all of their shots to start the game. It's going to be difficult to turn this game into a track meet because UNI won't let us. We'll have to look to push the ball on missed shots, but otherwise we're going to have to execute to some extent in a half court offense.

I'm as big of a homer as there is and I'm fine with the way the game has been officiated.

Quit cryin about the refs...you sound like babies.

The refs have been horrible. If you're gonna call little **** thats fine, but call it at both ends.

Sure they sound like babies to people that aren't watching the game, but the refs are doing a poor job. They are calling the game differently on each end. And I'm a Hawk fan that has no personal investment in the outcome.

This! I don't mind if the style of play is going to be physical. But give both sides the same ability to play physical.

This game is sooooo boring.
We need to come out with a press or something in the second half. Try and get some five second calls. Problem is idk if we'll have the depth to do that for a whole half.

Yea, it doesn't help either that ISU is getting all of the foul calls also. We need to pass more and pass better.
