I hate UNI. Hate their fans, their school, and their team. Win or lose this game, at least I can go back to forgetting they exist again.

Well that was a pathetic half. Hope they come out fired up in the second. Need more than 3 offensive boards.

This is why I don't like Melvin hanging around the 3 point line. He was a great offensive rebounder last year and it's hurting his game right now.

If they lose I think they should. The BYU and Michigan wins weren't as good as we thought.

I won't be shocked if ISU loses this, knowing ISU/UNI figured this was our 3rd toughest non-conf game since it's not at Hilton...but voters would see it as a pretty horrible loss. Then when we beat Iowa next wee they'll drop Iowa out and put us back in (if we were to drop this one).

Ugh. Don't want to meltdown or anything but yuck! ISU's offense is plain terrible with missed 3's and turnovers, and the 2-7 from the FT is a joke. Combine that with the straight fire UNI is shooting and they can now do the "we're up so lets milk the clock for all its worth and then get a foul or 2" style of play. Not over yet but I am EXTREMELY nervous.

no energy, obviously came out not respecting the opponent. This team isn't good enough to do that. Ejim now 5-19 from 3pt, Niang 5-23

Lol some fans showing their true colors. Turning the game off before halftime? lol way to stick up for the team. We play anything remotely close to good defense in the 2nd half then we'll be fine.

Somewhere in the U.S.
UNI out-rebounded, out-assisted and of course out-shot ISU. ISU got to the line more, but of course it did not matter because they made the same number of FT's as UNI. UNI. The team whose last game was a loss to Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Bench scoring. UNI 24 ISU 2 Yes....2.

I wouldn't mind Melvin shooting from out there if he made some. But he doesn't (hope he doesn't flip me off for writing that).

An off-night/wake-up call wouldn't be a bad thing in the long-term. Getting shredded would make me think U-M and BYU aren't that good.

Fortunately, there's another half to do something about it. I say "fortunately" with some trepidation.

'3-13 From 3 Point Field Goal, where they've lived....'

Oh, THAT's why I have concerns about that concept.

To those who were critical of me for posting my "Get ready for an ugly and frustrating game" thread earlier this week, please try not to melt down too much tonight.

You do realize ISU has one some of their biggest games shooting poorly from behind the arc? Or do you simply want to ignore facts and start the sissy-boy meltdown prematurely?
