I dont think we are the embarrassing ones, our team right now makes up for that. The basketball IQ on this team is bad. Is there any accountability on this team? To me sure does not seem like it, Mr. Allen you sir have the weirdest shot selection. Yet do it over and over again.

I'm trying hard to remain rational here. We all knew this team had flaws, but one flaw that can easily be worked around is coaching. We may lack a point guard, we may lack size, we may lack rebounding, but we shouldn't lack discipline and toughness. Guys just hoisting threes late in the game shows a lack of coaching. Royce White taking 15 foot fadaways 15 second into the shot clock shows a lack of coaching. That is hard to ignore.

Perhaps we are all just spoiled by CPR. He has us so used to seeing guys who can compensate for a comparative lack of talent with playing with incredible passion and emotion. At this point, put Jake Knott in at power forward and let Jared Barnett run the point.

And fyi.....here is a something coach should try with the tea on defense. Someone (anyone) doesn't have helpside defense that leads to an easy bucket.etc..Just take them out everytime. 2 or 3 times and they will get it.

Hoiberg needs to send a message that the ******** they displayed tonight isn't acceptable...if he doesn't do anything then why shouldn't they stop playing like that?..Make it a note that effort an hustle will get you playing time and not jogging or shooting 50 foot threes when the game is in reach.

Think about what would happen if we played more as a team. I will almost guarantee we'd be undefeated right now.

Did you see what happened tonight when we started to come back and got back on top? We were playing as a team, good defense, making cuts on offense, finding the open man, etc.

I have faith in Fred but am left pondering the following:

1. Head coaches rely on there assistant. What r ours doing in practice?
2. We have mature players who have played alot of bball. Why can't we figure out the game on both ends?
3. When is Fred going to get T'd up? The 2 charger's in the 2nd half week an argument. Show the team ur willing to fight.
4. How can we consistently leave spot up shooters open all night? Any pickup player knows when to shut someone down.
5. When r we going try something different on both ends? Get Royce down low where be belongs or put Percy in. He is showing he knows how to play down low. Stop switching every screen on D n stay w/the ur man. Might stop the wide open spot up 3.

Fred will turn this around, but letting guys get away w/ laziness will not make fans happy. Hire Bob Knight as ur bench coach, discipline wouldn't be a problem.

Buzz! We as fans have every right to be ticked off losing to programs in lesser conferences on a regular basis. I'll accept an occasional hiccup but this **** is past getting old.

I guess I can choose to watch the football this Saturday since I already know how well play against Michigan. Unorganized, sloppy play mixed in with dis-interested defense and uninspired rebounding. Meanwhile I can watch a football team that may play sloppy at times but at least they give it all on the defense.

Losing to Valley teams got old a couple years ago...my god. When is it ever going to stop? I didn't even go in to this game truly expecting to win...but it's just so damn frustrating. You can see we have the talent to win these games, but things just aren't working.

I'll still be at every game cheering the team on...but thank god the football team had a decent year. I don't know how much more losing I could have taken before I bashed my head against the wall until I was in a coma.

Credit to UNI, they played a heck of a game and made some big 3's. Our defense wasn't stellar, but who would have thought they would've killed us from behind the arc tonight?

They played about as good of a game as they could have and we just couldn't get it going tonight. They were the better team tonight and we're still a team without an identity. Hopefully we'll learn from our mistakes and get it going in December.

First of all we are not talentless on the floor. As a coach if there is flaws which we all have you work on them in practice to correct those flaws to the best of your ability. I get so sick and tired of everyone saying our football team or basketball team has no talent that is ********.

It is all about developing players to take them to the next level of their playing ability, well our football team has talent and the coaches coach them to the next level and teaches them to play to win not lose. The basketball team is the complete opposite no identity what so ever, but as a player why would you want to get beat by the opposing team? Players feed off of the coach period. I am sorry it all starts with coaching they recruit them here so it cannot be anything else. Fred is a hometown hero, but I am past that it is called tough love and Fred needs to be tough big time right now on his team.

I completely agree though Babb is not bad or anything. If that happens, and those guys play well together or something, hopefully it would send the "oh **** i need to play well and get my minutes back."
