No pressure on the QB - that's been ISU for years. No holes in our running game - that's been ISU for years. Glimpses of brilliance followed by ???? - that's been ISU for years.

1st quarter is all "Man, I think we might win this handily if we can at least score again in the 2nd quarter"

2nd quarter is all "Well, **** they are kicking our *** on both sides of the ball"

Need to be picking off those lob passes and get in these guys grill. There is no way these Bison should be outrunning anyone out there. Poor, poor Defense in the 2nd quarter. Our offense will take care of itself.

As a quarterback one of the worst things you can do is throw a pick right before the half that sets the other team up for a score. Momentum changer.

Tough first half for our LB's. This unit will have to play much better in the second if want to get the W.

Read my updated message thx I agree, but once we got off the scripted plays we pretty much have stunk.
But changing QB will not help, these are the pains I expected with a new O.C. I figured we would be lucky to score
20+ points the first 4 games.

I disagree. Things went south when Farniok left the game. Scripted plays has nothing to do with it.

NDSU was behind K-State 21-7 in the middle of the 3rd quarter last year. Get ready for a long 2nd half.

Here nor there
ISU did nothing after Farniok went out. That happens when you have no depth.
Meh, give Lalk at least a half to get back in the flow at center. How many teams go 3 deep at a position?

Mangino will help, but our offense will always be weak under CPR imo. He loves himself a horizontal attack.

When you have average to mediocre recruiting that's what you are going to get unfortunately.
