I say fire Rhoads, just make Mangino the interim head coach and go from there. Losing to FCS is one thing, getting blown out and looking like you don't belong on the field?

Mangino is in the box leading an offense that went no where after 2 drives. Nice results to get him a head coaching position.

Yeah, because Mangino put up 14 pts on an FCS team?

Everyone calling for CPR to go need to come back to reality. It's not going to happen. JP can't eat that contract.

Iowa looked bad today too, but at least their pathetic offense still put up 31 pts on UNI and pulled it out. Of course, it didn't hurt that with a couple mins left in that game UNI had 16 penalties and Iowa had 1. Talk about home cookin'.

I see a one win season right now. Between Toledo and KU, we'll somehow go 1-1. And CPR will talk all offseason about how great we looked in our 1 win, and that it was something to build off of.

Not entirely on Sam, but he's not exempt either. There were some awful throws today; the second pick especially. Yeah, Lazard was at fault for that on too but put one on the money and it's not an issue.

Your kidding right? That was just a freak play. Neither sam or lazard was at fault. Freak play and a heads up play by the defender.

Well, it will be interesting to see how "they" will sell hope for this season to be salvaged to any degree. Offense shows glimpses of quality, but goes in fits and starts (at best). Defense largely wet the bed. If we can't stop the run when everyone knows it's coming . . .

I drank the kool-aid only to find out that it was poisoned.

I think their coach whispered in CPRs ear "I've got a staff opening next season at waterboy" during the postgame handshake.

No, I,m not kidding. It was a simple quick out and Sam overthrew a six feet ******* five inch target. That cannot happen.

Injuries killed us: Bundrage and Farniok were 2 HUGE early losses. Cotton-Moya getting ejected also killed our defense. We must have the worst f'n luck of any sports team not named the Cubs.
