Monte's 4 turnovers are misleading to me. Have to re-watch the game, but there might be a couple where the other player fumbled the pass?? And another question.....does a blocked shot count as a turnover? I'm pretty sure Monte was charged with a TO (or two) in the Big XII tourney for a blocked shot, and maybe another tonight. Thought that would just count as a missed shot but not sure??

At least one of those passes was Monte leading the guy who didn't break toward the bucket.

From what I've seen of Haas, he's not good.

Haas is productive somehow but is horrible to watch. I don't think I have a seen a guy that size miss so many layups.

Coach Prohm talked about nothing but defense to start the year, then switched the focus to offense once that was established. Does anyone else get the feeling that he switched the focus to rebounding before the Big 12 tournament?

Turned it over a little more than normal, but 13 isn't terrible. Outrebounded them 38-28. Shot 56%, 42% from 3, 16/18 FTs.

Yep. We didn't play well at all - in fact I'd say it was the sloppiest game since we lost at Texas. I throw out @WV as that was a mugging/jobbing. Yet we found a way to win and had some clutch plays from a ton of guys.

I just love this team, especially down the stretch. I want for them to win so badly that it kills me when we have stretches of playing like junk. We really didn't in KC and it was awesome. Need to find that again.

To be fair most had Minnesota losing also.
5-12 games are so ripe for upsets. Most if the 5s have been locks for a while. Meanwhile the 12s have been in win or go home mode for quite a while. Yet the talent gap isn't huge. Most of the higher seeds were sloppy and struggled to put teams away.

Great win tonight. Withstood runs. Got stops when needed.

We have some strange fans. Before the game people seem to think Nevadas talent was going to be too much for ISU. Then when ISU goes wire to wire Nevada just wasn't all that talented.

My favorite part was the one of the commentators saying "And monte morris is still on the bench!.....Correction monte morris just brought the ball up court." Hopefully we get better commentators next game.
