I'm nervous about this match up. Nevada has 2 prospective NBA players on their roster and that can be the difference in sending us home too early. We need to plan for another trip to Hilton South. Somebody please talk me off the ledge.

Hope the players are watching ESPN this morning. A lot of talk about ISU losing. They're going to be talking about it again on SportsCenter here shortly

I get it. Nevada is talented with at least a couple pros in their lineup. That said, this isn't something we haven't seen before. I just like the way we're playing and focus we've been showing. If we lose it won't be because we weren't ready or looked past anybody.

Some of it definitely comes from the UAB debacle still showing up in our rear view mirror, but this seems like a totally different team than that one. These guys are playing of each other more so than anything or anybody else. Throw in an all-american level point guard with a chip on his shoulder and I'll take my chances.

ISU needs to come out at the whistle & punch these guys in the face. The rim is wide open - Deonte literally could go for 50 if he attacks the rim. Most teams trying to play fast vs ISU find out it doesn't work out. That being said if Nevada hits some shots early we could be in for a fight. Deonte please keep out of foul trouble!
