It's kinda hilarious surfing through this thread and reading the emotional changes. It starts around page ~38 / 39

I think it started with the D, and with the stops and steals, the offense--and momentum--followed.

Disagree on this. Our D was never that bad considering how tough OU is. This was all about Hoiberg playing Kruger's defensive game plan against him, granted once we started scoring we were better on D too. We would have lost by 30 had we allowed OU to dictate the game by suffocating our offense.

Really, "streetball" was our only option. Luckily, we like to play that way .

Infuriating first half. Knew 100% the team would come back, just didn't know if it would be enough. No one should be able to do what ISU did against this OU team. Wow.

22-0 run. Think about that. 22 to ******* 0 run against OU.

And "fans" said this team has no heart.

They are all heart, mother ******!

McKay is a steadying presence with his size, athleticism and effort. Just got to get everyone playing that hard for 40 minutes.

McKay showed some solid tools on offense in the first half. If he spends all summer in the gym working on his footwork and eating, he could be a first team Big 12 guy.

After OU hit the 3 to make it a 48-28 lead at ~15:00, ISU closed out the game outscoring OU 49-22.

That's the kind of effort ISU needs from here on out.

Agree, their heart is fine. We didn't lose to Baylor or KSU because of heart, nd we sure as hell were not down by 21 to OU because of heart.

A lot of talented teams in the Big 12. You can play well and lose. You can play with heart and not play well against a team like OU.

First time in 4+ years I almost turned the game off. Glad I didn't - when I heard that guy say "Get that **** outta here!" I was shocked going to commercial no T was called. Was super happy when the game came back that it was a T. Had a feeling it would pump the guys up but what they did was really incredible. Awesome last 15 minutes of that game. They need to play with that much intensity a lot. If they did, they could go far.
