TJ deserves all the love today. Zero complaints. We looked fantastic. Small ball was a nice change, especially when GC is zero threat offensively. Having to guard 5 guys instead of 4 makes a difference.
I was really thinking George would take one at the elbow, turn/shoot or drive/dish/shoot, just once. Never happened.

I guess TJ knows what he is doing. He obviously feels running the offense with cutters, etc. is a better percentage than letting George create.

Well OU was sure daring him to shoot. l have seen tighter defense at the YMCA. Just wonder if he is really that bad that TJ just told him not to shoot unless it is point blank? He was only 10 feet from the basket a couple times and his guy backed off.

Couldn't watch but that's a score I like to see right there.

Awesome stuff.

Great win today! Great to see Gabe have a good game! Keep that confidence up!
Thank you, Gabe. I AM happy.
Gabe has been playing within himself of late, playing good D, driving and passing, shooting more mid to short when there and less 3's. It is his/our recipe for success.
So mad I was on the road and didn’t get to catch this game. Just followed along on the phone. That defense appeared good again but the offense wow! Talk about balanced scoring and efficiency.

For those who watched it, how did we look? Hard to get a full picture from just following a box score.

Either way a huge win and with that margin I assume we should get a little bump up the NET. Two more wins to go to be solidly in but this week was massive.
We looked good (I watched on TV), very good passing offense with more cutters and driving. Better shot selection and discipline, less turnovers, good D. The big thing is we were hitting shots! Not sure if that was just a thing today or if it was a result of playing freer and with more confidence?

It also seems like TJ is starting to learn, settle on a lineup that is working. For example Tre is not playing of late and Jaden is. When Jaden is playing, you see him diving or inside more than Tre. You can see TJ wants to be inside more (but we just aren't really a great team for that yet). We weren't just jacking 3's. There was more balance. Brockington did his thing and played great.

We held home court. Hilton was apparently rockin! Like it will do when we are making shots.
ISU, Antman or Eminem?

Went to Hilton today for the first time in many years. Took my daughter for the first time. Place was rocking today - especially during that last big run that put the game away. Was a really fun stretch and crowd was really into it.

Not sure exactly what the difference was today, but felt like spacing and movement was much better on offense. Team seemed really patient and focused despite some really questionable calls/no calls.

It was a refreshing day especially on the offensive end, but I was surprised OU didn't overplay passing lanes near as much as KState. Can't remember squat about the first WV game. Did they overplay everything. That to me will be the true test...to see if our team can adjust to the more pressure teams.

I watched but couldn't post in here during game. Fantastic feeling to just be able to sit and watch a game for 40 minutes rather than be up and down out of my chair 100x and running my hands through my hair in exasperation. It did get a little close for comfort for a minute there in the 2H, but all in all a nice tip to buzzer effort by the good guys today. More please!

Spent my afternoon at the Beer Dabbler in the Twin Cities today, but was able to catch most of the game on my phone. Awesome stuff. The offense seemed to operate with so much more of a purpose and with a lot more urgency. Gabe acting as a distributor was great to see. Good stuff all around imo.

Also, Brockington hits some extremely tough shots basically every game. What a player.

Hilton was great to be at today. The remote broadcasts make Hilton sound quiet, but it’s so much better in person. Even cranking up the volume on the tv just doesn’t do it.
