Coach Jimmy Rogers is a winner at the conference level and at the national level. Tighten the chin straps people.
I love LB play. Watching Rose, Lanning and company has been a treat.
LB play the last 2 years has been concerning. Last year it was obviously due to injuries but this year may have been a notch lower.
I don't think there is much risk here starting over. Willich could be a good piece and will have inside track but please, give us some backers that can cover in space when needed.
All true. Plus you’re fighting a lot of power and money. The schools (and their representative legislators) will fight any change along the way that threatens the power they currently have. Change, no matter how much sense it makes, is rarely easy. Go Clones!!!
It took Iowa fans YEARS to correctly pronounce Ferentz. “Ferentz rhymes with Parents” was an actual song written by the guy who wrote songs and came to my elementary school to convince me not to do drugs.
Just went to our local county assessors office this morning deep in the Appalachian mountains. The first words out of the two gentlemen who met me (of note: I was sporting my Iowa State cap) were, "The CFB is broken. It's a crying shame what is happening to Iowa State." We might be the top story in CFP, albeit wrapped among ESPNs cowtails. I came off harshly pessimistic earlier, but after reading a few optimist posts, which made sense, I'm now square on the middle of the fence again. They talked me off the ledge. Thanks!

FCS....but good program...they will do well but I'd imagine not in the Top 10 of OL transfers in terms of NIL money. Just a SWAG on my part though. If there's one position for us to spend big on...its gotta be the OL. Plus...a lot of the guys want a good payday but that's not the ONLY thing they are looking for. Relationships...sure playing time...close to home. Those things matter too.

Wondering about Ebel…if he’ll be a pedo or if he didn’t fit/ priced himself out of a spot?
Hard to argue with never finishing below tied for 1st place in conference play as a HC.
Or he may not be on the National Championship caliber Ped St poach list. Campbell has been given their standard so we await to see which Cyclones he thinks meets that.
Some might, but Ebel was one that was offered a spot at PSU right away, if I remember right.
