He didnt even get touched. He aimed the throw instead of just throwing it. He knew he made a bad throw, you could tell by his reaction. It looked as though he was throwing a dart. Other than that pass, he was decent this game. Darks sure didnt help him out.
He actually got knocked down as he released it.

Austen had 2 passes in a row that were overthrown, but seemed solid overall outside of that. I can live with two.

The dropped passes and the early fumble were damaging. Those seemed to be more on the receivers than Austen today (except the fumble :jimlad:).

I wouldn't say he was great, but he was solid, and that's what we need him to be. When he was on in the 3rd quarter, that offense was a thing of beauty.

Arnaud's stats would have looked a lot better if the receivers would have caught the ball. There were 5 or 6 passes that the receivers should have caught. This would have helped out in the first half. Drives could have been extended and in my opinion, ISU would not have been down 9-7.

Welcome to the season. Not sure why it took until today for so many people to see this. It's been bad every game, but it was downright egregious today.

Now, hopefully it's time to roll the 'Skers one last time.

I respect the hell out of that kid. (Arnaud)

look how hard he ran the ball....had his helmet popped off going down near the endzone.

A tough cookie.

Someone else posted this in another thread, but here's direct link to video highlights on ISU Athletics Facebook page. Check out video starting around 4:50. Even better when they show it a second time in slo-mo.

Just watched the highlights. Did the KU player who speared Knott after the interception get flagged? It doesn't matter now but that was spear.

No he didnt. he was jumping up and down after he threw it because he knew it wasnt a good pass. not sure how you can jump up and down, yet be knocked to the ground.

other than that pass, and the two deep balls, he was solid. Darks sure didnt help him out in the first half.

you defending arnaud, is no different than me defending the receivers AND o line. this was by far the worst receiving game.

Hey, Arnaud played badly against Utah and Iowa. No denying that. Just like the receiving corps played well against TT and UT. Pretty much every part of our offense has struggled at some point or another. They look pretty good when they all get on the same page though.

I'll totally give the line a pass in the fist half against KU. Alvarez moved over to center and Sean Smith came in at guard. Took awhile to get it down.
