The game goes into to many overtimes and the refs call a tie. Seriously not going to say a peep about score because I do not know. Hope we score more than a touchdown though. What is the weather going to be like?

Current forecast is no chance of rain. In the 50's at kick and 40's by the end of the night.

i'm no expert and usually don't post in these threads but why not:)

This is easy to say behind a computer, but if the line can give the qb some good protection and more importantly the QB WHOEVER THAT MAY BE IS WILLING TO STAND IN THERE AND TAKE SOME HITS, we can win.

but we NEED, NEED, NEED, NEED, THE QB TO STAND IN THERE AND SHOW HE ISN'T AFRAID TO TAKE SOME HITS EARLY because I have a feeling kansas is going to bring the house a lot and throw every offensive trick Weis can think of at us.....Going down to the game with four others!!!

ISU 24
KU 3

We dominate the time of possession by running most of the game. Defense forces +2 turnovers.

We are actually playing a team with a worse kicking game than ISU.

We are actually playing a team with a worse passing QB than ISU.

We are playing a team with not as good a defense as ISU.

We are playing a team that may only have 30,000 or less fans show up.

We are playing a one-dimensional, crappy team that has been spunky at home.

I like Wally to come up with a good game plan. I like ISU. But the offense has got to get its head out its *** and post some points. ISU 24 - KU 14

I think we move the ball down the field at the end, but a holding penalty backs us up a bit. Charlie will ice our kicker, but Arceo still will knock through a 56 yarder as time expires for the Clones to escape, 73-0.

Holy Crap this is the most negative prediction thread that I remember all season.

ISU has been horrible on offense its no secret, I think some people are jumping off the cliff because we lost two games in a row to teams with better talent. KU is not one of those teams, they are equal to ISU at best, these are not UT and OU atheletes at KU.

The Kansas Defense is giving up the most yds per play (6.5), yep more than Baylor and more than WVU (6.2 & 6.39). KU is also 8th in the league in pts/pos allowed (2.5) ahead of only you guessed it WVU and BU (3.08 & 2.9). The data suggests that KU is the worst defense when you look at the yds they allow/play AND only slightly better at the pts they allow. This is good news for a struggling ISU. ISU seemed to do OK when playing a similarly bad BU defense.

KU offensively is scoring fewer pts/pos than ISU and is averaging a similarly low 4.9 yds/play to ISU's 4.93. Basically these two offenses are dreadful. KU has no passing game but can run fairly well. ISU is really below average at both, they dont do either well but they are more balanced than KU.

Thanks Khaal at encyclonepedia.com for the #'s.

I see absolutely no reason that ISU should not be in this game at the end. I beleive that it will be closely contested but the Homer in me expects ISU to win.

UNIGUY you are about as extreme one direction or the other as anyone, you were picking ISU to win games against some of the best teams and now that they didnt your selling on them against two of the worst in the conference.
