I guess I’m not as worried about Drake is so many on here. Just can’t let them hang around. Give me Drake over all other possible 12 seeds.

Anyone that can get up into ISU's guards will be a problem. I don't know where that stands with the potential 12 seeds or ISU opponents but imo it will be a big difference maker.

If we do wind up as a 5 seed, which I think is likely, we're going to have a tough first-round matchup against whomever we play. That's a given, so it is what it is.

I do think I would feel the best though with a game against Oral Roberts, for the reason being that TJ does have 3 years of coaching experience in the Summit League and is probably still familiar with the systems of play and the DNA of those teams more so than someone like Charleston or VCU. Now that previous Summit experience might mean nothing, it might mean something. All just my opinion.

That's why I'd rather have Drake than like Arkansas. Feel like they have lots of length and athleticism. Drake is good and will be a tough out but I'd take them over an Arkansas

Jaden Nunn plays for VCU. It doesn't look like he's that great of a player but it might provide extra motivation for him go stick it to TJ.

I think I’d want VCU or Charleston as a 12.

Isn’t oral Roberts new to the summit, though?

Biggest thing with the brackets for ISU is that I don't want the 11:00 game on Thursday. It seems like we and other teams have come out flat in that slot way too often.

How often have they played in that time frame in the NCAA tourney?

2015 was the one but for once ISU actually got off to a good start that day.

Then the next 30 minutes happened.

Plus, if you lose in the first round it totally ruins the first two days of the tournament. Give me a late Friday game like last year any day! Or afternoon on Friday, perfect excuse to leave work early and party it up.

Too soon... ;)

But seriously, I still have no idea just how exactly we p!ssed that game down our legs like that. I do remember we got off to a good start and a double digit lead and then....derp.

That team didn't like when opponents got into them a bit and seemed to start pointing fingers or trying to be the guy.

Of course I'll accept any time slot as long as we're in the tournament, but I definitely like being Friday evening and (if win) Sunday evening ... so you can watch almost two full days and we're still in it.

If I want to be unreasonably picky, I prefer that next-to-last evening window vs. latest - I'm getting old, apparently my stamina for a 10:10 p.m. eastern tip is more challenging. We had 3 of those last season if I remember -- S16 I know for sure was the last game of the day.

I like Friday especially if ISU's the higher seed so any upsets can ease the mind.

Ok... hear me out.

I would MUCH rather play a mid-major conference champ than a middle of the pack power conference team. Reasons as follows.

1. P5 teams will have competed many times against athletes at our level. No "shock and awe" if you will.
2, We have already lost multiple times to P5 teams seeded lower than us already this year.
3. We have more playable, capable, depth than pretty much all mid-major "hot" teams.
4. To cap it off. No mid-major has seen our intensity and defense.
