Can Hampton make history again, and be the first to knock off a #1 seed? At least then we wouldn't be top of the list for #2 upsets any more.
AP Rankings have nothing to do with reality. UNI being ranked in the top 10 was an utter joke.
Looking at Houston....the sweet sixteen will be held at NRG Stadium. That sucks. Basketball games shouldn't be played in football stadiums.
No they didn't. Where they were at in the AP poll doesn't really matter.
Just as a lot of people were saying on here for weeks now, UNI will get a worse seed than everyone thinks because the committee will realize they haven't really played or beaten anyone.
The real disappointment is Iowa getting a 7. Imo they should have been in the 8/9 opposite Kentucky. Only fair after we had to do that in 2011-12.
That's where all the games get played as the tournament progresses... in football stadiums.
Final Four, for example, will be played where the Colts play, not where the Pacers play.
SMU's best wins are basically Temple and Tulsa. I know nothing bout those teams so hopefully they're slow, defensive teams, ie nothing like Iowa State.

Yea Iowa staying a 7 seed is a complete joke. No way they are 2 seeds better than Purdue. Will be interesting to see them play Davidson. Davidson has shooters. CW saying we play Friday but I swear they said we are Thurs/Sat?
There's a hotel (not sure of the name) that is connected or right next to the arena. Pretty expensive, but I had family stay there the last time Iowa State was in Louisville. That was also the team hotel.
