Don't blame it on the refs. We played like ****, plain and simple. Too many turnovers and gave up too many o-rebounds.

That is also true. However, the refs missed a lot of over-the-back calls that led to offensive rebounds and Brown got away with quite a few hooks.

We also got away with a few travels... but oh well. Refs were horrible, but it doesn't excuse anything.

We have to face it boys we are NOT that good of a team....

Just like losing to drake high school when we dont hit our threes we cant beat a good high school team its just that simple....

Conclusion...Texas is a helluva lot better team than what we are and if we ever want to win another conf tournament crown we need a lot better players or else recruit some guards who travel and drive to the basket on every play....

Rick Barnes outcoached us something fierce....

How bad were the refs and how bad are those big 12 announcers!! The clones sucked too, but not as bad as refs and announcers.

Can't complain about the refs. As bad as they were, we played like *********.

Truth. Refs were dog**** and so were we. Got the 11-point lead then shut down. Royce was a turnover machine. I love what he has done for us this year, but I got tired of seeing him standing with his palms up all game. Seemed like he was pouting the entire night. The refs were the only thing that kept Texas in the game first half, we screwed ourselves in the 2nd. So ******, I've been looking forward to doing damage this whole tourney and we're out on night one. F this.

Come out swinging in the NCAAs. Better team beat themselves tonight.

Bad performance. Not horrible reffing, just horribly inconsistent reffing

I agree, but can someone please explain to me why the refs didn't call J'covan Brown for a lane violation on every one of his free throws? He steps across the line and lands on the other side before the ball is even close to touching the rim on every one of them. Maybe that isn't the rule anymore, but if it is and you have more technology skills than I do, take some still shots of a replay of the game on his free throws and post them and you can see what I mean.

Texas needed that win, we didn't. Simple as that. Step away from the ledge, we have a far more important game coming up next week.

That was the most I've been disappointed in our team for a long time. It is really frustrating when you see the opposing team out willing our boys. Damn I'm ******!

They didnt get called because our players were not boxing out and didnt leave their feet.
