We played like a team that went to its first bowl game in New York City.....

EXACTLY like that. Just like the FB team, they looked like they partied too much and was in a daze. Two points: 1. Bubu Palo should see as few minutes as possible from here on out...he's TERRIBLE. 2. Don't ever play zone again.

Yuck. Did not look good at all for about 90% of this game. Wake up call for the big tournament.

And I hate Texas.

We have to face it boys we are NOT that good of a team....

Just like losing to drake high school when we dont hit our threes we cant beat a good high school team its just that simple....

Conclusion...Texas is a helluva lot better team than what we are and if we ever want to win another conf tournament crown we need a lot better players or else recruit some guards who travel and drive to the basket on every play....

Rick Barnes outcoached us something fierce....

This team is good when they play smart and hard. There was none of that tonight.

Came in expecting to win, got our big lead in the 2nd half and turned it in (or over ha) for the night.

Awful loss. Luckily we are still dancing, but going to get a bad seed

Texas was more aggressive and took it to the hoop with a purpose. We couldn't box out and keep them in front of us on defense. Our lack of fundamentals tonight is why we were not getting the calls and Texas was. We deserved to lose with that performance.

With as much attention as Fred's cool, calm, collected attitude has gotten.....this would be a perfect time where a bat-***** crazy, Frank Martin personality would do us some good.

That effort was pathetic and needs to be harshly squashed in practice this week.

I hope this lose gets us a 10 seed or worse. I really don't want an 8 or 9
I think we are pretty much a lock in the 8/9 matchup. Being a 10 isn't really much better. We would have our hands plenty full with a 2 seed.

Saw some shades of the early season ISU tonight and that is really disappointing.

Maybe this team was a little too relaxed going into it. Gave up a lead in the first half, then gave up a lead in the second half. It was like they didn't really want it.

Recipe for ISU loss......5 for 20 from 3 point range. Way too many fouls. When the refs are being bad....you have to adjust. Royce took 15 shots. If Royce takes less than 12 shots in a game.....ISU is undefeated this year.

Maybe next year. Not impressed with ISU at all tonight.

You forgot to add being out rebounded. Missing from 3 point range is more acceptable when you're actually rebounding. Look at some of the Big East teams like UConn or Syracuse in the beginning of every year. There's one game they usually only win by 10 points over Albany or Loyola (MD) or something. They shoot terribly from 3, but rebound and that's why they win. Happens about once or twice a year.

I'm pretty certain most of the games we've lost this year...and most are by 10 points or less, are ones we were out rebounded in. We can shoot the ball, but not always.

Just a reminder... we got what we needed this year... the Big Dance.

Let's keep this in perspective. 90% would have taken this result at the start of Big 12 play. Let these guys have the "step back" and then let them play in the dance where they can do nothing but exceed expectations.

The future is bright... Fred got exactly what he needed to keep the momemtum going early in his career... he will continue to get great players.

The game sucked... but just being able to be in the position where we lost to TX as a 3rd seed is great to have again.

Absolutely pathetic performance. Hopefully they use the next week to get their heads out of their a**es or it's going to be a short stint in the big dance

Well looks like we played into the 8-9 matchup with this ****** performance. Lets all hope to god we don't have Syracuse or Kentucky in the same bracket or we're completely ****ed. Oh thats if we can even win an 8-9 matchup.

After tonites game we cant overlook anyone that we mite play, Looks like an 8 or 9 seed and if we play like tonite again it really doesnt matter because we will lose just like we did tonite....

Its real simple boys if we cant make threes we cant win....NOT this season anyway.

Relax people... it's just one bad game. We are in the tournament after all. Not bad considering last several years. This loss hurts but we are having a very good season so far. They will learn from this game, and be ready.
