Non-game related: Is it too hard for people to leave their politics at home when they come to the game? Who the hell thinks it's cool to start political chants and/or bring political signage to their favorite team's football game? My school is not home to your rally.

Anyway, the crowd was great last night, and it was a picture perfect day in Ames.
Didn’t see it don’t know who’s politics it was. Do you also think players should leave their politics at home?

I agree. I've been asking that same question about kneeling for the anthem......fists in the air during the anthem.....BLM T-shirts during the anthem at basketball games. Can't people just leave politics out of sports. And don't tell me it's a black thing because my wife is black and she thinks all of it is pathetic. Leave your politics away from sports. We agree garlic.

So do away with the fly overs too?

Agreed.

It wasn't that bad. We just had untimely mistakes.

My biggest issue with the first half was the insistence of trying to run horizontal on texas and throwing it so much. We started the game with Breece up the middle twice for decent gains then abandoned that until the 2nd half.

honestly I thought the first half offensively was absolutely pathetic, second half we spread out, attacked the edges, and threw downfield more…great adjustments at halftime, which was great to see

Texas Forums are on fire, they are afraid what will happen in the SEC :D

They should be. They were already handled by one of the middle of the road SEC teams.

I rewatched most of the game today and ISU mostly shot themselves in the foot in the first half. Couple of holding calls, couple of procedure penalties, OL got blown up a couple times, and of course Purdy dove 3 yards too soon on the 4th down. Also, Purdy was not real sharp with his passes. Some of the passes that were caught were because of great catches on bad throws. He was much sharper in the second half.

Alabama football is a cult. Not hearing about off field issues doesn't mean it's a clean program.
I mean, you think Henry Ruggs III just now started misbehaving?

I think people would be absolutely shocked/horrified at what goes on at many programs.

I usually don't pay much attention to coachspeak and all but Campbells about the A players being a "....hair off in terms of precision and detail" was pretty accurate. Was frustrating to watch though, especially after WVU. Nice quick turnaround in the first drive of the 2nd half to make us all feel 100% better about the game.

Wondering if the cloud zone is tightening up or is Texas really that bad? Seems like after getting wrecked on the sideline passes by WVU they decided that wasnt going to happen again, also thought people were manning up in the zone quicker and more deliberately.

You just wonder, CMC changed a bunch of things offseason, thinking he had trouble in Toledo in Novembers in some big games, besides last year has stumbled in November, wondering if he said screw Brocktober, we are doing a Cyclone to November, or whatever u folks want to call it.
