Good win today Cyclones.
Switching back and forth between the ISU and Oregon games I saw a lot of mediocre first half football by both teams.
Cyclones definitely came out in the second half and kicked Texas arse.
Baylor L today keeps things interesting.

I was starting to agree with him. The first half was frustrating. Especially after the bad loss last week.
I feel much better after the 2nd half. Yes I do.
The problem is he’s inconsistent and gets us into games where we can’t recover. I applaud his second half effort, but first half was vanilla. Playcalling against Iowa was trash and against Baylor it was awful as well. It needs to tighten up since it has cost us games the past two seasons.
Dijon couldn't muster anything
A gloriously boring a$$ kicking in the 2nd half. More than 2X their total yards. Cyclones were by far the more physical in the 2nd half. Breece was a beast, Will Mac was on the attack and Purdy showed his normal, quiet excellence. Props to coaches for figuring things out and "motivating" the team at halftime.

My gosh, if we would have played more than two quarters today we would have won by 50. I will take it. Texas football has issues....not sure how they fix them, its not like they are going to get better players and they have tried so many coaches. Now they will have a much tougher time winning their league also.
