It's late but this video sums everything up nicely so I don't have to type so much.

Don't know if the defense or Cyclone.TV executed worse. Neither seemed to know who had the ball

on a positive note the turf looked amazing

Meh. PR cant even defend this one. At least he didn't try. As long as this is ISU, there are ALWAYS going to be gap years. Same old song and dance that I have lived time and time again.

I just don't get how our offense can be that bad after 5 years. We've had the chance to recruit the players for our "system", and it hasn't worked.

It's so pitiful. It seems like every offensive series goes zone read, zone read, throw short of the sticks, punt.

I mean, we've got great running backs, and decent tight ends... how is that the offense that we play?

Well, we have no wide receivers, a QB with a weak arm and a line that cannot block so having running backs and tight ends does not mean ****.

Cold hard reality tonight. Ton of holes, lot of areas with low level of talent, and Jake Knott and AJ Klein can't cover it up anymore. This sets ISU back a long ways. Sellout crowds don't show up for this. Probably puts a bowl out of reach.

Thing is, sometimes teams can lose these games and bounce back, but a lot of what is wrong here cannot be fixed. And there is too much to list. This team will get better, becasue they can't get worse. But at no point, is scoring 6 points against UNI in the second half acceptable.

Messingham is a disaster, I don't see how anyone can say he isn't. The linbacker situation is just completely unacceptable, we have one servicable linebacker in the Senior, Junior and Sophmore class. Pretty clear moving Irving to DT was an act of desperation. This O line is really weak, I really can't beleive a couple of the guys that we have out there on the line, and yes I know Farniok is out, but we need a major talent upgrade and now on the oline.

I think Wally can cobble something together eventually, it won't be good but good enough to compete with the lower half of the conference. The offense....I thought Sam was pretty good, dude has NO chance behind that line, and whatever Messingham is trying to do.

I normally don't participate in these threads, but this game is just ******* me off something fierce.

I knew ISU would be worse coming into this year and I only had them pegged for 4-5 wins. But after this? There just seem to be too many major problems to right the ship in short order.

I might not even had been so ****** off about this loss if just wasn't so damn ugly. The score doesn't really indicate how badly ISU got dominated in most aspects of the game. I actually thought Richardson played ok, but had no time to do anything in the second half because the line couldn't stop a 4-man rush and was he asked to run the ball too much. And all UNI did on offense was run it at Miller (when he was in) and throw to whoever Sam Richardson was supposed to be covering.

It's just.... ARGH!!!!
