Couldn't have asked for a more horrible first game performance for MC...Horrilbe Turnovers...Penalties...Poor execution all around..WTS..I expect dramatic improvement next week. They have a lot to yell about.

BTW..on UNI first TD I think our LB missed the assignment and Heacock was literally screaming in his face the entire walk down back to bench..I've never seen an ISU coach just light up a player like that...Good..We need a staff that just doesn't accept losing.

Well, just too many mistakes. Way too many mistakes. I suppose the encouraging thing is that most of our wounds were self inflicted. A lot of that can be corrected.

Nothing will be corrected with that offensive line. Good-Jones will play next week but he won't make that much of a difference.

4 TO's for Lanning, 5 total TO's. Penalties all over the place. Sloppy sloppy play. Got their work cut out for them. I'm not panicing at this point because I saw some good things, but our lines on both sides are looking like or weakest points. Lanning doesn't stop turning the ball over, he's done.

You see mistakes, a turnover machine for a QB and bad line play on both sides of the ball....

Even with Campos and Good-Jones out I thought the OL would at least be able to run block OK but they were atrocious. Just awful. I have little hope for Lanning as a guy that can win games consistently.

Lanning is useless if he isn't going to run. Why do coaches try to turn runners in to passers?

Lanning needs to play like Colin Klein did for KSU. Hand off, knock people over running yourself, and then make the big easy deep throws when people aren't expecting it...and we have a great target for those deep throws.
