Rob definitely had a good game. One other thing. A team with that length and athleticism can be a team that gives Rob a lot of trouble but he played fantastic we aren't even remotely in the game without him
He played his role perfectly tonight. Rebound, defend, set screens and hang around the basket to finish on drives and dishes and putbacks.Rob definitely had a good game.
I struggled to find where you complimented him when he was in the groove.I admit, at one point I said Gilbert was "non-factor," but it wasn't a dis -- he wasn't able to get into a groove (and I think part of VCU strategy was to not let him or Milan do damage).
Gilbert so far a non-factor.
Gilbert got too ambitious there.
VCU may not be a final four team.............but compared to the marys ISU has been playing they sure were a step up.
Just giving you my perspective. If you are allowed to voice your opinion, so am I. But getting upset every time we are losing in a game and then going into a message board and complaining about it is not healthy. But you have every right to do it. But just my opinion. You can disagree with me. That is your right. But I have the right to express my view too.Who are you to say how someone is reacting to a loss?
Who are you to judge how someone can or should ride the rollercoaster of Cyclone emotion?
Large family gathering here - we’re all elated. We were all frustrated with that first 35 minutes, and it was justified. Absolutely no one here is apologizing for “overreacting”. Go ‘Clones!
It also makes the thread alot less enjoyable for everyone else. Just spewing crap all.over the threadJust giving you my perspective. If you are allowed to voice your opinion, so am I. So they were 95 on Kenpom. How does that usually translate to NET ranking?D
Depends what VCU does in A10 but should be
Nah. Winning teams are amazing the whole time.
That game ISU just won? That's not winning basketball.
-zrf, probably
Not too far offTorvik has Iowa State as a 6.2-point favorite (69-62).
75% win expectation
Yeah we were down 8 - 10 with ~5 minutes left, and up until that point VCU was playing with a ton of confidence (still) offensively.35 minutes??? I'd say 18 or 19 minutes. Frustrating part was how timid we played.
Probably should be quad 2. Cheer for VCU going forwardSo they were 95 on Kenpom. How does that usually translate to NET ranking?
he just picks out someone to rag on like bre but will never give credit if they do something goodAre you ever positive about our team?
@ZRF looking forward to your post game grade of BRE.
And they were a bad 3 point shooting team that made a few tough 3s and had a bank 3Crazy we won while going 2-13 from 3 and had that long scoring drought in the first half.
