Please don't. More numbers there not participating just makes it harder to control for the police. Please just ignore it.
The police are causing this one, but it still doesn't excuse a riot. Just let the kids have a house party.

Police didn't do anything wrong last night and there was still a riot. People say don't cancel VEISHEA and just have the police step up enforcement to stop problems to prevent a riot. Police step up enforcement and now people talk about rioting because the police are being too mean.
Cancel VEISHEA forever and be done with it. It has become a disgrace.

I used Campustown as a general term, meaning that most of the area in campus is restricted to no more then 3 unrelated people. Most of Ames only allows for a single family to live in each dwelling unit, and defines a family, in part, as 3 unrelated people.
