The stubbornness may stem from having lack of options. The talent level of the team is still lagging behind the rest of the conference. That's still on him for recruiting misses, but my guess is that that's why we don't see changes in the play calling or scheming week in and week out

Last night while watching the Oregon State game, I was wondering why only Oregon State, Kansas and Georgia Tech offered 3 star RB Damien Martinez from Lewisville, TX. He is in the Big Xii footprint, and he would be the best RB wearing cardinal and gold if he was a Cyclone. Cannot win them all, but I wonder if he was ever even on ISU's radar? He was on KU's, so I certainly hope so.
