I guess what’s the word on King? He’s eligible at semester. Is he done after this year? Does he get to only play first semester next year? Are they going to let him play a full year next year?

He’s essentially a junior who has to sit the first couple of weeks of the season. He’ll have a full year after this to play in Ames.

Based on the assumotion Grill and Jones move on, I think Ward starts and Momcilovic comes off the bench.
A recruited big would definitely be a need with that roster.

Completely agree. Think Momcilovic will be 6th man. Could change depending on how Milan is able to transform his body by B12 play and how Ward adapts to this level.

Really? Momcilovic is the 3rd highest rated recruit in our “recruiting rating era” history behind only Biliew and Brackins.
Not downgrading his stock, and I understand the whole "positionless basketball" trend, but I still think bulk will be needed in the line-up, especially defensively.

Of course we still need to see how Ward and T.King (and everyone else on that roster!) play against Big12 competition.

Again someone looking to get rid of Jones. Having a Big XII body and accepting his role is a a nice player to have. Adding a post with 2 years left would be ideal to rotate with Ward next year and Rock the following. Still if Jones wants to stay he'd be a great break glass incase of emergency guy.

He also is a team guy, no ego, plays to his role, perfect for a backup big. The guy was featured in nearly every offseason off the court stuff on social media, he's one of, if not THE leader on the team. Crazy how much people write him off.

I got the impression that Kalscheur and Holmes were stepping into the leadership roles the most, but Jones is clearly bought in, great culture guy.
