Again someone looking to get rid of Jones. Having a Big XII body and accepting his role is a a nice player to have. Adding a post with 2 years left would be ideal to rotate with Ward next year and Rock the following. Still if Jones wants to stay he'd be a great break glass incase of emergency guy.
Tre King is a post man. He is not a wing. He can stretch the floor and hit the 3. But his ball handling, and ability to guard wings is not the greatest. He is a 4 who can shoot.I think he'll be in a three many rotation with Biliew and Momcilovic at the 3 & 4. If he's still 230 he could serve as a small ball five when necessary.
Ok, King is a 4. He's 6'7. Biliew and Momcilovic can play the 3 and 4. That could make a great rotation at the 3/4.Tre King is a post man. He is not a wing. He can stretch the floor and hit the 3. But his ball handling, and ability to guard wings is not the greatest. He is a 4 who can shoot.
Alright, rank lineup speculation for 13 months from now with a little more thought behind it and the help of a my Bluetooth keyboard.
I am going to assume Grill and Jones “retired” and move on with their lives after playing four years of college ball each. I could be wrong and either could come back, but knocking those two out gives you ten on the projected scholarship chart to put this guess together.
STARTERS:
—
Lipsey
E. King
Biliew
T. King
Momcilovic
BENCH:
—
Williams
Hamilton
Watson
Fish
Ward
Lipsey is probably going to be incumbent at the starting PG position, though Williams returns as a high-level backup to split minutes with him. Eli King has a year of experience over Hamilton. Tre King is the longest-tenured player on the roster at this point, so he likely starts, and I am just going to assume that recruits with the pedigree of Biliew and Momcilovic start from day one. The other wings and big men make up the back end of the rotation in the 3-5 range.
There would still be three scholarships to play with if this shake out this way, and I imagine TJ would be active in the transfer market, but I don’t see any glaring needs out of that roster compared to the past two years. Sure, it is relatively inexperienced and relying mostly on talented freshmen and sophomores, but that is just going to be the nature of the beast going forward building this program. Another true big man to replace Jones and provide some depth might be nice and maybe an experience guard to replace Kalscheur and Grill. Besides those, however, I think it is in good shape.
There, better?
Derpth....There you go, better. Haha. And like you said, a lot will change between now and then. And like you said, Jones and Grill could be very welcome in there also.
That looks like a pretty deep team though. Like 1 a1 vs. 1 a2. Good depth.
For anyone interested Omaha is playing on YouTube tonight. It's half time right now. He is the best player on the floor right now between 2 teams full of 4 and 5 star players. #6 for Blue Checks.

Is the body thing still an issue in today's game?Completely agree. Think Momcilovic will be 6th man. Could change depending on how Milan is able to transform his body by B12 play and how Ward adapts to this level.
Do we have these? In the transfer era, you cannot project lineups until late May or June...
I'm more excited about Milan than Omaha. A lot of you are understating his elite scoring ability. You can pare him with Omaha, a PG and some shooting. Thats a sweet 16 formula
Google circle breathing. It helps. Not me. I stopped trying that awhile ago. It’s really hard.
Only 3 freshmen in the entire league saw more than spot minutes in B12 play last year. Maybe not in the sport as a whole, but in the B12 it is.Is the body thing still an issue in today's game?
I did just remember TTUs team of 26 year old men with old man/park pull-up strength bodiesOnly 3 freshmen in the entire league saw more than spot minutes in B12 play last year. Maybe not in the sport as a whole, but in the B12 it is.

Some Omaha highlights from last night. Going to be fun to see these in Hilton next year. (TJ in attendance)
