Keep in mind that 4 of these guys each had to sit out a year of basketball and developed a bond during those times. Not all at the same time but supporting a guy who can't play builds a bond. We owe these guys a lot. This program was a mess.
The understatement of the century. The previous regime had put the program into a nuclear winter and to have quality guys like Anderson, Babb, Luscious, Clyburn, Booker, McGee, Allen, Scotty, White, etc... buy into the new staff, buy into the direction of the program, and go out and perform at the level that they have is nothing short of amazing. Because of their efforts and the efforts of the staff you have a new generation of Cyclone fans rabid about basketball, older generations of Cyclone fans with a renewed energy about basketball, and you have young guns like Okoro, Niang, Thomas, Morris, Dorsey-Walker, etc... that want to be a part of what is going on at Iowa State.
The transformation of the program from being dead and buried a few short years ago to where it is now and where it is heading is nothing short of spectacular.
