Wife showed me the trailer on this few days ago. Looks amazing, am going to watch over the next week.

If you want another documentary (not a series) on Netflix that will blow you out watch 'Dear Zachary'. Do NOT Google anything about it before watching. Complete mind ****.

I don't want to spoil anything but I'm halfway through and have no idea what to think. I did have to look up what happens in the end though. No matter what actually happened, there's some sad **** in there. I also think Brendan's IQ tests were rigged.

Got my parents and sister to start this earlier...we watched 6 straight. Will finish tomorrow. They're as speechless and angry as everyone else watching it all unfold.

I'm done. I have no idea what to think. If Avery killed that girl he is both the smartest and dumbest killer i have seen. A perfectly clean scene with all that supposedly happened is next to impossible, especially for someone who doesn't seem to be all that brilliant. Then, to park the vehicle where he did and to burn her in his back yard? I mean, I just doubt it man. Then the key. They rummaged through the whole place and didn't find it like 3 or 4 times and then all of a sudden there it is and it's found by the guy Avery was going after? Then there isn't any of her DNA on it? The blood? Who the hell needed some more of his blood from the vile after the first case?

I don't know if Avery killed that girl but I'm fairly certain you couldn't have gotten me to vote guilty there. No weapon. No motive. You have nothing putting her in the house. You have her being put in the back of the vehicle which makes zero sense. It just all doesn't add up for me.

You can't make up some of the BS that happens in this case...so shocked by how this concluded. I have a feeling this is not the end. Public support for the Steven should pour in now.

I've binged on this documentary since last night. So many suspicious things by the police and things that were included in a trial that don't seem like they should have been. Like the bit of dna evidence on bullet, where the tests were messed up and the person doing the test had notes to find something to connect him to the house our garage. Further, if she was shot in the head in the garage, where was the blood splatter on all of that junk? Luminol tests?

It really is something. And to everyone who thinks they couldn't have been brought to vote guilty, I doubt it. You had DNA evidence in multiple places, a co-conspirator detailing how it happened and him being the last person to see her alive. To dispute that you have to believe a conspiracy theory of the highest order and if you're wrong you're letting a murderer go free after he's had multiple past problems. There's not a lot of people that would stand strong and say that the state had not proven their case beyond a reasonable doubt.

On a related note, Iowa State has the nation's leading expert in proving why eye-witness accounts, police lineups and police providing victims with suggested potential criminals are often worthless. Check out his research sometime if you're interested in this.
