Not really. It looks like a well made and interesting movie. It just wasn't really a trailer that made me think "this is a really scary movie."

Just giving you a hard time, generally I think it's tough for scary movies to hook people with trailers because often character development and setting is so important you just can't accomplish it in 2 minutes or less.

Just giving you a hard time, generally I think it's tough for scary movies to hook people with trailers because often character development and setting is so important you just can't accomplish it in 2 minutes or less.

It kind of reminds me of the trailer for The Village. Except I mean that as a compliment because I thought The Village would have actually been good if it would have stayed straight instead of the stupid, predictable twist.

If the twist to The Village was not predictable to you within 20-30 minutes of the movie, the only reasoning I can think of is because it's the first movie you've ever seen.

But not to get away from the point of the thread, this still looks like a quality movie. And people like Stephen King have said it's terrifying, so that's always something to consider. Maybe the trailer is just bucking the trend and decided not to give the scary stuff away. And if it's build up terror instead of a bunch of jump scares, I'm all on board to pay 12 bucks for a ticket to see it. Will be interesting hearing what some you going to see it will have to say.

Are those football players? If so that's a better performance than they gave in the Rose Bowl.

Some critics that I follow have said that it is not a horror movie. It is a really good movie with some creepy parts. But they have said that if you go in expecting horror, you will be disappointed.
