What if I really wish to park in G1? Where on earth is G1?

They really need to re-do the lot naming conventions for 2020 seasons. I know things have expanded quite a bit over the years, but the lot naming has now far surpassed the threshold of familiar vs logical ordering of lot names.

Maybe its just me but following the logic on this map isn't hard for me. G lots are the only ones that don't quite follow the norm but it still isn't that complicated.

East side of the towers.

Interesting. I don't think I've ever seen G-1 listed on a parking map. Must have been before they used the east side of towers for intramurals.

I just tried to mark Sparkplug's post with a winner icon and was rebuffed with the "You don't have permission to access this page" message. Weird.

Okay - figured it out. You moved your remark outside the quotes in your second try, and deleted the first post...WHILE I was trying to respond to it. Freaky! I wonder if that's what an instaban feels like? :D

You will park in C1/C2 the same as any of the other paved lots. I believe G7 may be the only lot where parking is more "directed."

Folks at $250 can only park in G7--if that space has any available. I assume in a year or so it will take at least $500 to park anywhere and maybe $1000 to park on any pavement.
I would assume the top $250 level folks would be able to get C1/C2 if any are left after all the cardinal selections. I could be wrong, but I took that map as an expected location based on donation level, and not true cut-offs. I can't see the university having spots open in C1 and C2 just because there's not enough $500 level donors.

I suppose whatever spots are available will be able to be selected. Maybe those far north spots will be fine. I think someone said they are surprisingly easy to exit from.

Oh - the good old days when you prevented people from parking in spaces they paid for? Nice.

Has anyone who has paid for a C5 lot ever been turned away at the entrance? I highly doubt it.. As you yourself have mentioned about basketball parking, 100% of parking pass holders never show up, so there are open spots to be had. The fact this guy made a couple fake parking passes didn't prevent anyone from parking where they paid to park.

Hop down off your high horse for just a second to realize you're probably over-reacting about a fake parking pass. FFS

That response comes from years of paying for parking on campus, having no spaces in my lot after I come back from lunch, and having students say "oh well, it really doesn't matter if I park here and never pay my parking tickets".

I'm just saying that it DOES matter when you park illegally. If that's a high horse, then yup, I'm riding it.
