Ames, the labb
Just a couple of comments and thoughts by me sorry for grammar/ punctuation im on my phone. 1000th post!

Thought we were out coached out prepared and out played monday night. It is an absolute crying shame that almost 25,000 fans made the trip down there and were embarrassed.
Im getting a little tired of the " coach talk" that we get from CPR Maybe i am just used to listening to ozzie guillen post game comments
Yes the schedule is difficult but since this staff has gotten here the team has lacked the fundamentals tackling, blocking catching and playing disciplined football. Im not asking to be world beaters just make the fundamental plays.
Im gonna take the positives into the off season great attendance, recruiting and another bowl trip!

"Coach talk" keeps this fan base positive, but has its limitations when the product on the field is not yielded by what you preach. Playing smart diciplined football is what CPR said would happen here in Ames and what I saw Monday was the opposite. What about passion hit you off the bus attitude and fundamentally strong? Instead the tackling was very lacking. We had a very bad showing in Memphis and for the Big Twelve so the staff has its work cut out for them in the off season because this fan base has done its part.

CPR has done more for ISU FB in 4 years than any coach in our history.

Not dissing CPR at all, but I think Mac did more. As bad as it was post-Chiz, it had been 20 years of absolute unmitigated cat barf when Mac showed up. Cyclone football was hopeless, helpless, brainless, and unemployed in Greenland.
