Brent Mushmouth was on PTI earlier, semi defending PSU.... I was really kinda sad to see. I'm not sure Tony K even asked him a question, I think he just tried to keep quiet and not tearing Brent a new one.

Just released:
PSUBoT Release: The Board of Trustees concluded that President Erickson had no choice but to accept the NCAA sanctions. No action taken.

HA HA what a bunch of dumb *****. Typical blow hard political types, "well you may be right, but not till I say so, even if I look like a jackas now"

Not for sure what to say about how pitiful that was. Hope for the hurt and scarred I guess.

Time will tell, but I think Mark Emmert has made his presence known. It's not just this decision, but the USC one as well. As much as everyone thinks he is pandering to the big boys, he really isn't. USC will see the effects of their punishment. They haven't yet but they will. Hell, they may have had a NC taken away. It's almost like Emmert has said, "OK, you guys have had your fun, but knock the ******** of or I will slap your *** into the last time you were mediocre."

I'm all for jurisdiction and all of that, but in this case, and this may even be the only thing I can even come up with that deserves this from the NCAA, I have no issues. This was something so egregious that I have no problem with any punishment they get. I have heard comparisons to the Baylor thing. Yes, that was serious, however, it was one murder and a few people involved. PSU was a series of acts performed by someone on children who could not defend themselves and an entire administration failed to do a single ******* thing about it. Yes, there are people who will lose something even though they weren't involved but that's tough ****. Your leadership did that to you.

TO damb bad, Im sure several kids didnt like it either.
(nothing aimed at you CyErik)

Freeh investigation was commissioned by the PSU trustees and the findings have them by the balls. Gross negligence at best or willful misconduct at worst by paterno, curly, schultz, and spanier. Freeh's conclusions clearly indicate the latter, as well as incompetence by the trustees. Not much the trustees can do at this point, despite what their delusional and moronic fanbase thinks. No way the university's insurance company will have to pay the forthcoming civil claims either.

Donald Trump is going to launch an investigation to find the true responsible parties while saving the reputation of Joe Paterno and Penn State University in the process.

I just picture some higher up type guy sitting down and having a light bulb go off, "oh damn, this is gonna suck."

It's the higher ups at PSU that ignored the child molestation evidence at the time and that paved the way to these well-deserved penalties.

The notion that "we didn't do it, this was done before we got here" doesn't matter. Local and state governments and the federal government pass laws and regulatory agencies enact policies and regulations because of the actions of the few but all are impacted.
