Is Rocco better now then the start of the year? There were reasons we did what we did at the start of the year.

In the few times they actually let Rocco throw the ball in the first 3 games of the season he showed way more than enough promise that handling him with kiddie gloves the way they did was far too excessive. In fact, it’s probably the biggest reason why we were so upset with the conservative nature of the offense in those games (all the runs up the middle and short, non-threatening passes) - we KNEW Rocco could throw the ball.

Like I said earlier - I get that food poisoning was an issue during the Ohio game. But the bigger issue was that game was coached like it didn’t matter. Campbell took (or was forced into) the training wheels off Becht and the offense for the Big 12 season, a big part of the reason why we went 6-3 in conference. Had he decided to do it one week earlier against Ohio I’m 90% certain we win that game, and he would have saved himself from having to face the wrath of the fan base. Because like I said earlier - after the Ohio game his support was at an all-time low.

I work with kstaters. One of them said today that they would “beat us by 2 tds on a normal day”

I said”dude, we just beat you on Saturday. What are you talking about?”

Yeah on the cesspool of twitter a KSU nut was talking about what a fluke win it was for ISU with fluke big plays. If ISU defenders catch even a third of the balls that hit them right in the hands it is easily a 49-28 final and maybe even worse.

KSU guy at work said that everyone (KSU fans) was surprised how badly Will played. He said he has been saying all season that he isn't good.

I follow some kstate facebook pages. The comments regarding their players are unacceptable.

You are not wrong, this team allows the QB to sit in the pocket and scan the field to find a receiver, its a problem and needs to be solved. Blitz if you have to, but there were times last night when the QB had 7 to 9 seconds in the pocket to find a receiver. You just cannot cover a WR that long, they are going to get open.
On the other hand, this season has resulted in much more turnovers than years past, even without great qb pressure.

All time low......show me data or is this an opinion?

Also, your first paragraph is all opinion for you to believe whatever u want to. Are u at practices or in coaches' meetings to verify?

I think part of that is making the play (catching the ball) when it is there. With the exception of Snowmageddon our defense has done a decent job of making the catch. In many of the years in recent past our defense has been atrocious in hauling it in.

Maybe it's been discussed, but did anyone else think that Rocco and Jim Bonifis were asking the refs to throw a flag on that bad snap play? Looked to me like they were pissed off ... maybe a defensive player simulating the snap cadence?

ISU threw the ball 44 times vs. Iowa, 24 in the first half and dropped a TD in the end zone in the first half along with several other drops throughout the day.

Many of ISU's longer scoring passes were short routes that went long due to poor pursuit by the opponent.
