I voted ASAP because what we knew to be true after the Liberty Bowl is--in fact--true. He does not know what good coaching is and cannot coach or hire good coaches and accepts inferior coaching. He still gets paid. We get losing football for our money.
Just end it now and we'll start over for Lazard's sake.

I was afraid we were headed in the direction of becoming Kansas....and now we're officially worse than them. I don't know how you can rationally argue it any more; this program is a disaster. We need a change.

The next round of realignment isn't that far off. The sooner we start rebuilding the program the better position we'll be in when it happens.

We are too young on defense and have had too many injuries for me to say this is it. These young guys are getting a lot of experience and I expect a lot of improvement next year. And with CPR, I really believe that we'll see it. I still love him as our coach. But that said, we do need to see improvement next year and if we don't see it, I'm not sure when we will. So I think we have to at least give him through 2015. I don't think we're going to win the B12 next year, but I'm confident that we will see improvement.

A defensive minded coach doesn't put himself into this kind of hole this far into his tenure. This should be the year his defense fires on all cylinders, not look this bad. Rebuilding is one thing, this, this disaster is beyond excusable. Our Defense has been **** since day 1 with Rhoads, it's just now, without Knott and Klein that it's becoming more obvious how good those two were.

I changed my vote from him getting next season to fire him now. I want something to be interested in for next season, and CPR and Wally both being around next season will have me debating if watching any game is even worth my time. I have no hope for ISU unless some sort of change is made.

This is probably buried in other threads, but anyone know roughly what his buyout would be?

I have no faith he can develop the young guys on the roster. Time to give someone else a shot.

We have nothing to lose. Fire him after the year.

I saw this the other night on another game where they were talking about turning around a program.
1st season - lose big
2nd season - lose close
3rd season - win close
4th season - win big.

Rhoads has been here 6 years and we still seem to be are not even competing, especially the last two weeks against Oklahoma and today against Kansas.
