We had them almost dead in Ames in 2017 and screwed it up. That game still ticks me off. Oh well, conference games are much more important.

I was in the first row of the upper deck in the southwest corner of Trice for that.

Iowa scored that last touchdown right in front of me looking down.

I kicked something pretty hard, if I remember.

After beating KSU, I have beating Iowa as my last hurdle for CMC and then I'm 100% all about The Process. The strides we've taken to now be ranked preseason are impressive.

Geez USAToday...

15. Iowa State (17)

Matt Campbell left the spring praising newcomer Breece Hall at running back and incumbent quarterback Matt Purdy, the two keys to the Cyclones' offensive success. Another reason to be optimistic: Iowa State's defense looks built to last in the Big 12. The defensive front in particular showed this spring why it's a major asset.

Matt Purdy and Jeff Prohm should do a sports special on cyclonestv/ESPN3/ESPN+/whatevertheFitscalled

My brain can't process this.

There is a real disconnect. On the one hand we have a team that expects to win every week. On the other hand, we still have a fanbase that mostly still wears nutcups and chastity belts to each game. Somehow we need CMC and his staff to infect the fans with The Process. Please!!!
