It's all perception, some people hear what they want to hear. For example if someone says "You're a worthless piece of Crap" to you, some people might think this guy hates me, some might think this guy is a jerk, while a few say, "shut up Dad".
Remember when CPR was inherently making negative Joel Lanning statements? If only Rhoads would listen to his O cordinator. Made this statement before, CPR could save children from a burning building and some posters would make an unfactual strawman argument that CPR should have known the building was going to catch fire before it did.
