He seems to get more threads on this forum than the current team. I guess hate stronger emotion than love.

Lol, you mean like Florida A&M and Milwaukee? Yeah, 7-22 (0-18) makes us look so much more respectful.

We never said that. We just said "only two wins!" is slightly misleading. And it is. It wasn't a normal schedule.

Yeah, UW-Milwaukee and FA&M were pretty awful, but I doubt even last year's team is going to lose *all* of those games if we have the typical cupcake schedule early in the non-con season.

Those noting 0-18 (or 0-19 with the last-second loss to Oklahoma State in KC) and no wins over high-major peers in the non-con (not that many of those games were played last year) have a strong point. DePaul was not very good either, so that was probably the best chance before a COVID rainout of that game, but I will reiterate I don't think anybody on here disagrees on Prohm deserving to be discontinued.

Finally a thread on medieval Thai history been waiting for this my whole time here!

Phrom (Thai: พรหม), also known as Phrom the Great (พรหมมหาราช) or Phromkuman (พรหมกุมาร) was a ruler of Singhanavati (Yonok) realm in Lanna region (modern northern Thailand). He is the first Thai monarch who has been dubbed "Maharaja" (the Great), but his history is rarely officially recorded. Most of them are more myths or folktales rather than real history. Therefore, it could be considered that he was just a legendary king. His era is uncertain in what year, but most archaeologists estimate that it was around 857–58.[2] [3]

I feel like there's a joke about Steve Prohm being at Texas's practice with full beard.

Isn't their coach named Beard? Is Chris's son named Half Beard? His daughter, No Beard?

Take out the comment about Prohm running the broom. Isn't it somewhat newsworthy that he showed up at Texas practice, in a beard no less....for coach Beard!!!!!

Is it an audition? A sign?

I don't think discussing something a reporter felt worthy enough to tweet about is obession. Nor was anyone here really bashing, but there was almost a preemptive reaction to that, just given that his name was brought up.

He may have been a legendary king, so what. What was his overall conference record in the Lanna region?

I defended CSP at the beginning of last year because of the man he is. It became obvious the he couldn't continue as the coach very quickly into conference play.

Good human being out weights bad basketball coach in my book. Wish him all the best, and I would bet he will get another crack at the P5 job someday, hope he learned a lot.

Now on to the new era, and hope TJ can rebuild what CFH had done.

Right. Ignore the OP's comment on running the broom........and then except your premise that "Nor was anyone here really bashing"?
Do you do stand up?

This is a lot of bellyaching over a throwaway comment, and a remarkably low amount of discussion about Prohm rocking a beard w/ Beard.

It's like Ryan getting a goatee. You can't just not talk about that.

He definitely had an offense ahead of his time. But when those following him continued using the elephant offense everyone had figured out how to defend it.

Elephants don't **** around. They ******* charge your ass.

Ok, which one of you is the guy who called out Prohm in front of a still half-full Hilton on senior night in 2019?
