Tobias' little bro. He would definitely solidify the front court for next year.

Providence forward Tyler Harris will graduate at the end of the semester and transfer elsewhere for his final season of eligibility, the school announced Tuesday.

Harris, who transferred to Providence from NC State in 2012, will be eligible immediately at his next destination.

"I would like to wish Tyler all the best in his future endeavors," Friars coach Ed Cooley said. "Tyler helped us move our program forward over the last two years as we won the Big East title and made consecutive NCAA tournament appearances during his two seasons of competition."

Harris, a 6-foot-9 forward from Long Island, averaged 9.9 points and 4.0 rebounds this past season. His minutes and production were inconsistent during the second half of the season, as he scored two or fewer points in three of his final five games.

I'd rather secure a RS big than bank the last one if we end up with two commitments this last weekend. Assuming the RS big is worthy, of course.

If we can land him, Noskowiak, and a Big who has to sit out, I'd feel like we are in a good place going forward.

Tyler Harris would be a great pick-up! I hope he falls in love with Ames this weekend and signs on the dotted line immediately.

He can ball!

Biggest concern I have for next season is depth in the front court. This guy looks like he would be a great fit for that.
