No one is making that argument. I'm just saying that people talk about how bad Arnaud is, and when you compare him to past QBs via statistics and on-field results, it's not much of a difference.
Seneca Wallace got ISU to number #9 in the polls. That is why people respect him. He got worse stats because it was only him that was making plays, and other teams figured out our scheme later down the stretch (which started the Oklahoma game and other teams just copied what Oklahoma did). McCarney never really adapted, so ISU fell apart later in the season.

I'm not putting down Wallace. He was an electrifying player, and is responsible for some of those moments that you never forget. I'm just saying that Arnaud isn't as bad as some make him out to be.
