Question about Insanity.

There are three different Cardio Abs workouts. One on the same disk at Pure Cardio, one on the same disk as Max Cardio Conditioning, and one on its own disk. I can pretty much figure that when it says Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs or Max Cardio Conditioning & Cardio Abs that you do the second program on the appropriate disk.

When (if ever) do you use the stand-alone disk?

I haven't watched all three, but maybe they are the same and the stand-alone disk is for when you just want to pop that one in?

Can't seem to find anything on this anywhere.

I've never used the stand alone Ab disc. You get enough ab workout through the other workouts you mentioned, (pure cardio and max cardio). I'm on my 3rd go around with insanity - I love the program.

For those of you complaining about the cardio part about hurting yourself ect. You realize that while cardio is important to overall health and all that, if you just want to look better, you dont need cardio at all, in fat loss, cardio is used as a calorie burner. If you do cardio to get rid of 250 calories a day, and you hate it, just dont eat those 250 and you dont have to do cardio. Stick to your normal weight lifting and eating below maintenance, all there is to it.

Not bashing p90 but just awaring those non aware.

The stand alone ab disk is a "Bonus" disk so it is not on the Insanity calendar. They just throw it in there so you can pop it in whenever you want to get an ab only workout. I haven't done it yet.

Just going to brag here. I just finished month two and I am down 30 lbs. I'm starting monnth two over again and mixing in some other workouts to really try and tone up.

Has anyone had issues with their arms falling asleep at night after lifting? I can't figure out if it's the p90x or the tempurpedic bed?

i have been doing P90X for a year and I love it. Horton get's annoying. I actually like the fact that he don't let me off the hook and does not do that many breaks. To each his own. I am going to try Insanity pretty soon. Just have to find someone to burn me a copy.
